Episode 1: Rebecca's Dad Never Liked Jack
"This Is Us" fans rejoiced after they got to witness more young Jack and Rebecca moments during the premiere episode.
However, things took a sharp turn for the couple after Rebecca brought Jack to dinner with her family.
Fans thought all was going well after Jack had earned respect from Rebecca's parents when he poured his heart out about his past.
To everyone's surprise, however, Rebecca's dad pulled him aside after dinner and basically told him he would do everything in his power to break them up.
Episode 1: Uncle Nicky Gets Arrested
One of the many new characters introduced during the season 4 premiere was Cassidy Sharp, a Marine who just returned from the Middle East.
Now, for most of the episode, fans had no clue how she would tie into the Pearson family storyline.
However, while Sharp visited a Veterans' Affair to treat her PTSD, someone smashed a window in the middle of the emotional meeting.
Who is that someone, you may ask? Well, it was none other than Uncle Nicky. After getting arrested, it's discovered that Kevin is Nicky's go-to person to bail him out of jail, forcing him to leave Los Angeles and fly to Pennsylvania.
Episode 1: A New Relationship?
Do we have a new romance on our hands?
Throughout the premiere episode, "This Is Us" fans were uncertain with how Malik's storyline would intertwine with the Pearsons'.
The teen dad lives with his parents in Philadelphia and it wasn't until he looked up at smiled at Randall's daughter, Deja, while attending a barbecue that fans KNEW there was something that was going to go on between these two throughout the season.
Episode 1: Kate & Toby's Son, Jack
At the beginning of episode 1, fans were introduced to to a grown-up Jack, but at the time, had no idea who he was or who his parents were.
As the episode progressed, we learned that Jack -- who's blind, married and a soon-to-be father -- is an accomplished musician, performing in stadiums.
This moment had fans gasping at their television screens, not only because he's Kate and Toby's son, but also because he's fulfilling the dreams of his mom and grandmother Rebecca, who were both aspiring musicians.
Episode 2: Kevin's Secret
After a whirlwind premiere, episode 2 brought fans back to what they're used to: an episode focused on the Big Three.
Throughout the hour, we saw Jack and Rebecca bring their teenage children on a family day out, Randall and Beth adjust to their new life in Philadelphia, and Kate and Toby learning how to take care of their newborn son.
However, it was the end of the episode that had fans yelling at their TVs.
After Kevin made it seem like he was headed to Chicago to film a new movie, he wound up on the doorstep of Uncle Nicky's trailer. What does this all mean?
