Having breathed new life in Sherlock Holmes and Watson in his "Sherlock" series, Steven ("Doctor Who") Moffat puts his own spin on Bram Stoker’s classic novel. The OG vampire ups the stakes in his eternal battle with the Van Helsing family, moving from rainy Transylvania to rainy London. Claes Bang from "The Girl in the Spider's Web" dons the count’s fangs for this adaptation.

It will be hard to top the 1997 film starring Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos but Netflix is going to try. Authorized by her family, "Selena: The Series" will recount the inspiring and tragic story of Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, the Queen of Tejano music and fashion icon whose rise to stardom was cut short by her fan-club president and business partner.

Life once again finds a way in this animated series. A group of teenagers find themselves in the middle of a dinosaur rampage while vacationing at an adventure camp near Isla Nublar. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall are the executive producers.

Captain America’s pals join forces to battle the returning Baron Zemo from "Captain America: Civil War". Given the mantle of Captain America in "Avengers: Endgame", the Falcon must shoulder the legacy and all that goes along with it. Emily VanCamp reprises her role as former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter and Wyatt Russell debuts as John Walker, known as U.S. Agent in the Marvel comics. U.S. Agent was a former villain Super-Patriot who becomes the U.S. government’s new Captain America.

Al Pacino leads a band of Nazi hunters who uncover a plot to create a Fourth Reich. The heroes set out to snuff out their devious plans. Jordan Peele is an executive producer and his Monkeypaw Productions is spearheading the series.

Although the live-action film based on the milestone in Japanese anime flopped despite having Scarlett Johansson in the lead role, Netflix remains undeterred. Major Motoko Kusanagi returns but instead of being hand-drawn, she and the entire film are CGI. It is a revelation that has divided the anime community.

RuPaul will write, produce, and star in this misfit/buddy comedy. RuPaul is Ruby Red, a drag queen who pairs up with an orphaned girl (Izzy Gaspersz as AJ) to travel across America. While trying to earn back the money stolen from her, Red also touches people’s lives in various ways. Netflix describes the series as a mashup of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and "Touched by an Angel".

The creepy J-horror film franchise is turning into a series that explores the origins of the curse. Netflix stated with a wink and a nod that the film franchise was “based on real events that occurred over four decades – and the truth is even more terrifying.” One suspects that the series will delve into the history of the cruel spirit Kayako.

A party boy’s self-driving car crashes, sending him into a VR afterlife in which he can choose his hereafter. That is the premise of Greg Daniels’ new comedy series starring Andy Allo and Robbie Amell.

Sarah Paulson, last seen in "American Horror Story: Apocalypse" and M. Night Shyamalan’s "Glass", assumes the role made famous by Louise Fletcher in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". The series chronicles Nurse Ratched’s journey on becoming the cruel tyrant she is at the troubled Salem State Hospital. Michael Douglas and Ryan Murphy are the executive producers.

May the Force be with them! Kids compete in a "Star Wars"-themed game show hosted by Ahmed Best, Jar Jar Binks in the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy. Best will be seconded by a humanoid droid co-host voiced by Mary Holland ("VEEP", "Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre"). The show will present the players with a variety of challenges that will take place on a forest planet, on a star cruiser, and last, inside the Jedi Temple of the title. Good luck, young Padawans.

Stephen King himself is writing the adaptation of his 2006 novel for Apple TV+. Hollywood heavy hitters Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, and Joan Allen will headline the eight-episode series. J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot will produce the show. In King’s novel, Lisey, the widow of bestselling author Scott Landon, is stalked by an obsessed fan and uncovers her husband’s buried secrets, both good and bad.

Shonda Rhimes brings Julia Quinn’s award-winning 'Bridgerton' book series to life, revealing the lives and loves of the well-to-do Bridgerton family in Regency England. Hollywood royalty Julie Andrews will narrate the show. Nicola Coughlan from "Derry Girls" and "Line of Duty"’s Polly Walker also star. With nine 'Bridgerton' novels there will certainly be no shortage of material to draw from. Stock up on the tissues and ice cream.
