Less than six months after Prince William got down on one knee, the royal couple tied the knot on live television on April 29, 2011. Kate Middleton looked stunning in a custom Alexander McQueen wedding gown while walking down the aisle at Westminster Abbey. Of course, their nuptials were watched by millions around the world.

May 2017: Prince Philip Retires From Royal Duties
A collective gasp could be heard around the world after it was announced in May 2017 that Prince Philip would be retiring from his royal duties. His last engagement took place in August 2017, where he met up with the Royal Marines and who had just completed a 1664 mile-long journey.
November 2017: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Get Engaged
Arguably one of the most momentous royal moments of the decade was when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement in November 2017 following months of speculation surrounding their relationship. Harry popped the question to the former “Suits” actress while cooking dinner in their Nottingham Cottage. “Just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic,” Meghan told BBC shortly after they had officially made their big announcement.
May 2018: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Get Married
All eyes were on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they made their relationship official, tying the knot on May 19, 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. Meghan was the epitome of the glamour as she wore a custom Givenchy wedding gown made by designer Clare Waight Keller. She later changed into a Stella McCartney dress for the reception.
May 2019: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Welcome Baby Archie
Five months after their wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex delighted royal fans as they announced they were expecting their first child together. On May 6, 2019, Archie Harrison-Mountbatten Windsor was welcomed into the world.
"I'm so incredibly proud of my wife," Harry told the press following Archie’s birth. "As every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for so I'm just over the moon. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension."
November 2019: Prince Andrew’s Scandal
After a decade filled with birthdays, babies and weddings, the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew gained traction once again.
Virginia Roberts made claims that she had sex with Prince Andrew when she was just 17 years old.
In an attempt to clear his name, Prince Andrew sat down with BBC Newsnight for a televised interview that he had been advised not to take part in. He denied the woman’s claims that she had been trafficked and forced to have sex with the Prince multiple times, but he also opened up about being friends with convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein which he said he did not have any regrets about.
Following the immense amount of backlash, Queen Elizabeth’s third child announced that he would be stepping back from his royal duties.
