'Community'
NBC
Where to watch: Amazon Prime Video
"Community" is one of my favourite comedies of all time, and a gem for all pop culture addicts with clever references and Easter eggs in almost every episode. Starting off pretty slow, the show reaches its full weird stride by the season 1 paintball apocalypse finale (not a typo, LOL). All six seasons are available to stream on Amazon Prime!

'The Americans'
FX
Where to watch: iTunes
Can't rely on the government? Worried that your neighbours will infect you with their propaganda? I mean, honestly, who can you trust right now? Then I've got the perfect show for you! "The Americans" is a Cold War drama about Russian spies living in America. And here's a twist: a CIA agent lives right across the street! Powerfully heartbreaking performances from Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys propel the series to epic heights where you'll consistently wonder, "Wait, the Russians are the bad guys, right? Then why am I rooting for Keri and Matthew?" Plus, the sixth and final season is just about perfect with an Emmy-Award-winning finale that is not only deserved but will kick you right in the gut!

'The Vampire Diaries'
The CW

Take a bite out of this show with steamy vampires and a then-rising Canadian star! The show was a hit for the CW from 2009 to 2017 -- even though it went a few seasons too long, it’s still worth a binge.

'ALF'
NBC
Where to watch: Amazon Prime Video
Remember ALF? He’s back, in streaming form! Melmac’s finest cat-loving furry outer space friend is pretty much as housebound as the rest of us. Only seasons 1, 3, and 4 are available so you’ll have to use your imagination when it comes to ALF and Willy’s antics in season 2, but there’s still 76 episodes to stream or 29 hours of “ALF” for your viewing pleasure.

'Mike Tyson Mysteries'
Warner Bros. Animation
Where to watch: Netflix
Perhaps one for Gen-Xers who grew up with the anthropomorphic adventures of Hanna-Barbera cartoons, "Mike Tyson Mysteries" refuses to play by the rules in much the same way Tyson the boxer dismissed protocol in the ring (just ask Holyfield's right ear). The bite-sized, 10-minute episodes turn tradition on its head by not really being about anything at all, with Tyson's mystery team -- his adopted Asian daughter, a gay ghost, and a talking pigeon -- pursuing one storyline only to have it switch at the caprice of the writers, who must have a blast scribing this post-modern gem.

'The Office'
NBC
Where to watch: Netflix
Are you already missing office politics or that co-worker that sometimes annoys you as you work from home? Well, take a break and turn on an episode of “The Office” on Netflix. The show ran from 2005 to 2013 but it’s arguably more popular than ever as people revisit Dunder-Mifflin over and over again. It will give you a much-needed laugh as Michael Scott does something inappropriate, and warm your heart as Jim and Pam’s relationship develops. Keep a close watch on Creed, though.

Where to watch: Netflix
You need to add British dramedy “Sex Education” to your watch list ASAP.
The show centres upon virgin Otis, the son of a sex therapist, who sets up a sex clinic at his high school with the help of his classmate, Maeve. Now, not only is this Netflix original totally hilarious, honest, and awkward, but the cast is absolutely brilliant at storytelling.

'The Real Housewives Of Potomac'
Bravo
Where: Slice, Global TV app, Hayu
When you hear the words “Real Housewives”, you may instinctively think of New York, Atlanta, or Beverly Hills, but there are plenty of reasons to give Potomac a go. For one, there are only four seasons, so it’s a very practical binge. Plus, the recently wrapped fourth season has been praised by fans of the franchise as a “breakout” season: sexual assault charges, momma drama, and a dinner party that reality TV fans could only dream of. And with season 5 on the way, there’s still time to get on the Potomac train before it becomes a bandwagon.
