Daveed Diggs got a big Thursday morning surprise, not only helping to announce the SAG Awards nominees with Lily Collins on Instagram Live, but by learning that he had been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie for "Hamilton".

While "Mank" received a nomination for Gary Oldman's lead performance, Amanda Seyfried's celebrated turn as actress Marion Davies was ignored by the guild.

"The Queen's Gambit" is one of the big nominees at this year's SAG Awards, but Bill Camp's nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for his role as William Shaibel, the custodian turned chess mentor to Beth Harmon, came as a welcome surprise to fans of the prolific character actor.

Emmy and Golden Globe nominations were apparently not enough for Shira Haas to get recognized by the SAG Awards for her acclaimed performance in the hit Netflix miniseries "Unorthodox".

Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods" received two SAG Award nods for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, and a posthumous award for the late Chadwick Boseman for Supporting Performance, but the film's show-stopping turn from actor Delroy Lindo failed to get a nomination.
