Justin Bieber will win for “Yummy” because when we first read that song title, we were, like, ‘Ew.’ But then when we heard the track, we were, like, ‘Okay.’ Bieber can wipe the ew off of yummy just with the power of his performance. That’s real power. Give this man the golden gramophone yesterday.

Gaga will take this trophy, though, and we'll get to see some marvelous pandemic fashion when she accepts. This is one of Gaga's two nominations this year. She's also up for the Pop Duo/Group Performance prize for "Rain on Me" with Ariana Grande.

This category used to be called Best Rap/Sung Performance, and before that, it was Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. And this year, the inaugural Best Melodic Rap Performance Grammy will go to “Rockstar” by DaBaby featuring Roddy Ricch. Not sure if you know that song? Here, it’s this one. The one you hear everywhere, every time, all the time. DaBaby is nominated for four Grammys, including the Record of the Year award. Roddy Ricch is up for six awards, and both are performing on Sunday’s show. Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” and “Rockstar” have earned him six nominations. He’s running against himself in the Rap Song category and Rap/Sung Performance.

Roddy Ricch is nominated six times, but he can technically only win four trophies because he's competing against himself in this category and the Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance race. The existential Compton rapper's hit "The Box" spent a whopping 11 weeks at the top of the charts. Apple Music named it Song of the Year. Our tea leaves agree. "The Box" has this award in the bag.

Audiences really responded to the timely collab "10,000 Hours" from Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber. And folks are onboard for Dan + Shay's TikTok-hot followup, "Glad You Exist". Look for "10,000 Hours" to pick up the win in this tight category. This is one of Bieber's four nominations this year.

Este Haim told the Telegraph, “I think it is important to have a vision and to stay true to that.” Our vision is the pop-rock sister band Haim performing on this Sunday’s show and winning the Best Rock Performance category with their song, “The Steps”. The L.A. trio with the Hall & Oats-y vibe is also nominated in the Album of the Year category.
