Invest In Knee Highs

"The Chanel boots? Yeah." There's a reason this look was chosen for Andy's iconic transformation moment. While the school girl-inspired tweed jacket was everything, it was the thigh high leather boots that stole the show and reminded us that a good pair of thigh highs can make an outfit. Don't sleep on that little black dress in the back of your closet. Andy gave the versatile piece a super chic flair by adding sheer tights, some ankle-strap pumps and a white button-up for the perfect look for any work meeting.

As we start to return to normal life, the thought of dressing up for a event can be a little daunting - and a head-to-toe black look can be a great option. Keep it chic by leaving your neckline open and adding some drop earrings for sparkle.
Add Texture To Stand Out

Make an everyday look stand out by adding a textured jacket in a metallic hue. We're still dreaming of this mirrored jacket paired with gold hoops and layered necklaces that Miranda wore when she gave her "cerulean" sweater monologue.
Layering Will Set You Apart

While conductor's caps and long pearl chains may not be the current trend, there's something to be said with tasteful layering to elevate an ensemble. This look was arguably one of Andy's most memorable in the film - not only because it was all Chanel, but because it gave her that effortless "fashion girl" edge.
A Tailored Coat Is A Need

Cue the montage of Andy walking to work in a slew of beautifully-tailored trenches. If we learned anything from the film, it was that a coat should be an extension of your outfit and a white coat paired with an animal-print bag and grey leather gloves is timeless.
Prints Always Come Back

Like it or not, a bold animal print will always come back in style. Let us not forget Meryl Streep taking Miranda's style to the next level in a combination of zebra, leopard and snakeskin prints for an everyday look at the office.
Denim Can Be Chic

At the end of the film, Andy left us with an important reminder that style has to be your own - and you can still look fashion-forward in a pair of denim. A black turtleneck with denim is always chic, but add a brown leather jacket and suede boots for that added flair.
Faux Fur Is Fashionable

Another memorable montage? Miranda throwing her array of faux fur coats on Andy's desk. While we would not recommend, it's a great reminder that an oversized faux fur jacket is never outdated.

And, of course, a moment for the film's true hero Nigel, who gave Andy a chance to become her most fashionable self when everyone else looked down. In one of our favourite Nigel looks, he reminded us that classic prints like plaid are always in and there's nothing more stylish than a three-piece plaid suit.
