"Grey's Anatomy", currently in the midst of its 18th season, resulted in the seventh-highest number of tweets of any television show this year.
6. 'Jeopardy'

It's been a turbulent year for "Jeopardy!" following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek, with a revolving roster of co-hosts before Mayim Bialk and the show's producer Mike Richards were named as permanent hosts — only for Richards to be immediately axed due to some scandalous remarks from his past. Throw in the record-breaking game play of contestant Matt Amodio and all the elements were there for "Jeopardy!" to generate the sixth-greatest amount of TV show tweets this year.

It says a lot that "Game of Thrones", which aired its final episode well over two years ago, managed to be the fifth-most-tweeted about TV series of 2021.

Boasting one of its strongest casts ever, "Saturday Night Live" continues to draw viewers on both television and social media, where sketches and memorable moments keep going viral on Twitter.
3. Sesame Street

The venerable children's educational series that launched in 1969 continues to be discovered by new generations of youngsters while also managing to be the subject of an awful lot of Twitter traffic.
2. 'WandaVision'

Generating the second-highest number of tweets in 2021, this acclaimed Marvel series for Disney+ proved to be even more wildly inventive than fans could have ever imagined, setting a high bar for future Marvel series.

This surprise hit from South Korea generated the most tweets of any television show this year, not surprising when you consider "Squid Game" broke all existing Netflix records to become its most-watched series ever.
