New York-based comic Ian Lara made a splash when he taped his first “Comedy Central Stand up Featuring” special, which has racked up more than 10 million views, in addition to appearing on the first season of NBC’s "Bring the Funny” and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".
Along with starring in his own special streaming on HBO MAX , "LA Meets NY", in 2021 he was named one of “JFL new faces of comedy” during the very same week he recorded his debut Comedy Central half-hour special, set to debut in February 2022. Lara has also signed on for another half-hour comedy special for HBO Max.

Ayo Edebriri was cast as Missy in animated Netflix comedy "Big Mouth", taking over the role from Jenny Slate.
She's also been seen as Hattie in the second season of Apple TV+ comedy "Dickinson", a role that was created specifically for her after she joined the show's writers' room. Meanwhile, additional writing credits include "Mulligan", "Big Mouth", "What We Do in the Shadows" and "Sunnyside". She'll next be seen in FX comedy series "The Bear".

The 2018 winner of New York’s Funniest Comic at the New York Comedy Festival, Josh Johnson has performed standup on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", and is currently a writer on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" (he's also opened for Noah on his "Back to Abnormal" comedy tour).
