Following guest spots on such TV series as "Charles in Charge" and "Married... with Children", Pamela Anderson went on to play Lisa, assistant to Tim "the tool man" Taylor (Tim Allen) on "Home Improvement", appearing in the series' show-within-the-show "Tool Time". Anderson appeared in the show's first two seasons.

In 1992, Pamela Anderson joined the cast of David Hasselhoff's "Baywatch" in the role with which she's still most associated: lifeguard CJ Parker. Anderson stuck around as CJ for five seasons, and briefly reprised the role for a cameo in the Dwayne Johnson-starring 2017 "Baywatch" movie.
