Rapper and actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges received his star on May 18, where he was honoured by Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, and "Fast X" co-stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson. Also paying tribute was Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker.
"Getting a star is a statement," Ludacris said in his speech. "But be clear about this statement: The even bigger statement to me is that we are all interconnected. And I am a culmination of the people who showed up for me today believing in me and pushing me, to inspire me. I am a reflection of you… I'm nothing without you. Thank you."

Blake Shelton was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, May 12.
The country music singer was supported by his mother, Dorothy Shelton; his wife, Gwen Stefani, and her three kids; and his “The Voice” family, including Adam Levine and Carson Daly.
Shelton gave Stefani a lovely compliment during his acceptance speech, telling the audience: "I kind of stopped checking things off my list of great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen, so this is just icing on the cake.”

Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini, known for such films as "Swept Away" and "Hannibal", received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 6.
"I had an Oscar nomination for ‘Seven Beauties’, but I think the star is more important," said Giannini of the honour. "I am a star forever for the public.”

"Creed"/"Black Panther" star Michael B. Jordan received his star on March 1. Among those to pay tribute at the ceremony were director Ryan Coogler and Jordan's "Creed III" co-star Jonathan Majors.
"I'm extremely humbled and grateful to be here,'' Jordan said. "To be amongst artists that received this honour previously — Sidney Poitier, Cicely Tyson, Sam Cooke — I know it's not a small achievement. And it's not lost on me how special this moment is and what this represents to our community. So from the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you.''

Courteney Cox Honored with Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame

"Friends" star Courteney Cox received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star on February 27. Making good on the promise of the "Friends" theme song, her former co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow were both on hand to honour her, was was pal Laura Dern.
“‘Friends’ taught me the importance of camaraderie and really sticking together. These friendships were at the most important time in my life, and we went through so many things together,” said Cox. “And it just taught me about being there for each other — I know, that’s the song: ‘I’ll be there for you.’ But it’s true. It was so nice to work with people that could bounce ideas off each other. Everybody wanted the best for everybody. There was no jealousy, it was only, ‘Let’s make the best show we can, and let’s support each other in this.’”

Rapper and actor Ice-T was joined by wife Coco Austin and daughter Chanel when he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Feb. 17. During the ceremony, he was honoured by Public Enemy's Chuck D, along with "Law & Order: SVU" co-star Mariska Hargitay and series creator Dick Wolf.
“I want to thank the motherf**king haters, ‘cause you really make me get up in the morning and be the best that I can be. All the naysayers, all the people that wanted to end my career, now I’m on the Walk of Fame... and that’s the motivation! You’ve got to let the haters motivate you," Ice-T said in his irreverent speech. “If it wasn’t for the haters, I definitely wouldn’t have pulled this off, I swear to God. I’m gonna give you so much more to hate in the future.”

Thanks to all of you who will walk these paths and these sidewalks and have stars alongside of ours to keep this tradition, this beautiful tradition of Hollywood going."

"I didn't really think doing this would last very long," the "Rebel Yell" singer said of his music career, which began when he fronted British punk band Generation X before finding even greater success as a solo artist. "We thought maybe six months, maybe a year, maybe two years. I could never have imagined something like this. It's just incredible."
