George Clooney Supports The Homeless
George Clooney stopped by Social Bite restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland in support of homeless people. The cafe operates a “suspended coffee and food programme” that allows customers to purchase food or a hot drink for those without a home. Clooney’s appearance was ahead of a secret lunch with contest winner Heather McGowan. The actor then went on to deliver a speech for a crowd of 2000 people at the Scottish Business Awards. Clooney handed over $1,000 (US) to buy food for the homeless and told reporters outside, “I like what they’re doing, I think it’s a very important cause. I think the idea that we can all participate in everyone’s difficulties is really important.”
Charlie Sheen Donates $25K To Typhoon Haiyan
Anger Management star Charlie Sheen recently donated $25,000 to help families in the Philippines devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.Giving money to the PREDA Foundation, Sheen's donation was used to provide food for shelters set up for those who lost their homes in the natural disaster as well as to locate missing children.This isn't the first time Charlie's generosity has shone through this year. The actor donated $10,000 to sponsor Anger Management crew member Casey Jones in The Walk To End Epilepsy.And very early on in the year, the tiger blood-fueled star donated another $12,000 to pay the funeral costs of a paparazzi photographer killed after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the road following Justin Bieber.

Kim Kardashian Sells Her Stuff
Kim Kardashian was seen showing off her new look on the streets of New York and the compassionate star is also doing what she can to give back to the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.Tweeting out a link to her website, Kim has set up an eBay auction for some of her old clothes, writing: "Hi guys, this is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, a nonprofit organization that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications."Great right? Unfortunately for the reality star, people seem to be focusing on the fact that only 10% of the sales are actually going to Philippines relief.

Jamie Oliver swapped his cooking utensils for a telephone and joined the DEC telethon for the Philippines.
